National policy on volunteering

The Minister for Community, Equality and Gaeltacht Affairs, Frances Fitzgerald, told Michael Kitt (FF, Galway E) that the Irish national steering committee for the the European year of volunteering, 2011 was working with Volunteering Ireland (the national coordinating body for the year) to bring forward a national policy on volunteering (Dail Eireann, Debates, 22nd March 2011, 334).
