Department of Health & Children lottery allocations – second tranche to be allocated

The Minister for Health & Children, Mary Harney, told Noel Grealish (ind, Galway W) that her national lottery allocation for 2010 was €3.786m (Dail Eireann, Debates, 25rd November 2010, 330). So far, €2.637m had been paid out and €1.147m was available for the remainder of the year. It was normal to make payments in two tranches, July and December and any applications unsuccessful in the first round were considered in the second. 238 applications were currently being assessed.
