Dormant accounts – where they went

The Minister for Community, Equality and Gaeltacht Affairs published details of the allocations of dormant accounts funding for 2008-2010 (Dail Eireann, Debates, 19th April 2011, 565-6; question by Pearse Doherty (SF, Donegal SW)).  2010 allocations were allocated to government departments and agencies as follows:

Community, Equality & Gaeltacht                  €5.2m

Education & Skills                                              €1.2m

Arts, Sport & Tourism                                        €0.39m

Justice & Law Reform                                       €0.67m

Environment, Heritage, Local Govt              €1.5m

Social Protection                                                €1m

Health Service Executive                                 €6.1m

Office Children Youth Affairs                           €2.9m

Prison Services                                                       €0.21m
