Last funding for community fora

The Minister for the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government, Phil Hogan, gave details to the Dail of funding for community fora for 2014 (Dail Eireann, Debates, 1st April 2014, 750-1).  This funding, €228,220, covered the first six months of 2014.  Under the Local government reform Act, 2014, funding and structures for citizen engagement would be a matter for the local authorities from 1st July.
